Job Title: Fluorescent Inspector** **Job Description

As a Fluorescent Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality of castings and wax patterns by checking for cracks, defects, or other issues. You will ensure that parts meet quality requirements by using measuring tools and recording inspection results accurately. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial while working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

+ Check castings and wax patterns for cracks, defects, or other issues.

+ Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and inspection guidelines.

+ Record and report inspection results accurately.

+ Use measuring tools to confirm parts meet quality requirements.

+ Keep detailed and accurate inspection records.

+ Work to meet production, quality, and safety targets.

+ Share inspection results with supervisors and production teams.

+ Pay close attention to detail while working in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Skills

+ Quality inspection

+ Blueprint reading

+ Micrometer and caliper usage

+ Visual quality check

+ CMM operation

+ NAS 410 NDT FPI Level 2 certification

+ Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications

+ Knowledge of measuring tools and gauges

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience with fluorescent penetrant inspection is preferred

+ Experience in inspection, troubleshooting, quality control, and quality assurance

+ Visual inspection skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

+ Willingness to get hands-on and learn new skills

+ Strong attention to detail and safety

+ Team-oriented attitude

+ Ability to lift up to 75lbs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groton, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
