    Job Title: Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to efficiently assemble and fill orders for shipment to various branches or divisions. This role involves loading vehicles, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and fill orders for shipment to branches or divisions.

    + Load common carrier and company vehicles.

    + Verify quantities and descriptions of assembled orders in carts.

    + Count and record total quantity of merchandise shipped on invoices.

    + Pack orders into containers and arrange them onto trucks according to route.

    + Ensure accuracy of quantities and items being shipped.

    + Substitute for other warehouse personnel when needed.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with order picking, RF scanner, unloading, and general labor.

    + Proficiency in material handling, loading, and warehouse inventory.

    + Proven experience with receiving, kitting, inventory handling, and shipping tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Availability to work 30–40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime or shift changes.

    + Valid forklift certification with demonstrated safe forklift operation.

    + Physical ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

    + Ability to read labels, follow packing lists, and accurately complete shipping/receiving documentation.

    + Reliable attendance and punctuality.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is conducted in a dynamic warehouse setting, primarily from Monday to Friday. The position requires handling inventory and operating equipment such as forklifts, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

    This is a Contract position based out of Hiawatha, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
