    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies and large components. You will work independently and in teams to complete OEM assemblies, following entry-level blueprints, shop orders, and specifications to build and assemble parts accurately and efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies and large components.

    + Work independently and in teams within specified work areas to complete OEM assemblies.

    + Read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and instructions to build and assemble parts.

    + Measure parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers.

    + Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with blueprint reading and mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to read and assemble both subassemblies and mid-assemblies from 2D and 3D prints.

    + Possess own set of tools.

    + Ability to work independently with limited training.

    + Experience using rigging equipment, power tools, and hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School diploma or equivalent education.

    + Mathematical skills for metric system conversions.

    + Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, and cut-off saw.

    + Good oral and written communication skills.

    + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    This is a Contract position based out of Sheboygan Falls, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
