Job Title: Electrical Assembly Apprentice** **Job Description
Join our Electrical Assembly Apprentice Training Academy and assist in the mechanical and electrical builds of customer products. You will gain hands-on experience and learn to read and understand point-to-point wiring schematics and diagrams (480v, 120v, 24v). Our in-depth training will cover crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing UL panels and sub-assemblies.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and switchgear systems, focusing on 3-phase power distribution.
+ Pull wires, crimp wires, install, and test wiring utilizing point-to-point methods.
+ Use tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, crimpers, and torque wrenches.
+ Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
+ Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
+ Work under direct supervision with frequent output monitoring.
+ Maintain documentation and update panel layouts as needed.
+ Follow manufacturing protocols and lean production principles.
+ Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics.
+ Ensure that the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
+ Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
+ Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
+ Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillment.
Essential Skills
+ Basic electrical wiring or assembly skills preferred.
+ Strong initiative to learn a trade through an in-depth training academy.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
+ Ability and drive to learn to interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Familiarity with electrical testing and control panels.
+ Knowledge of soldering and panel wiring.

Work Environment
Enjoy an extremely clean, temperature-controlled environment. The electrical assembly area consists of cell stations with large working areas, and you will work in teams of 5-7 technicians per work cell. We provide all necessary tools and materials for completing the assembly. Training occurs in a classroom setting on-site, focusing on safety, electrical wiring, and standard protocols. Shifts are from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work. Overtime is limited to a maximum of 58 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
