    Job Title: Quality Control Inspector** **Job Description

     

    As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform inspections of parts using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements. You will be responsible for accurately documenting the results of inspections and testing, maintaining all controlled documentation files and test records, and performing data entry into computer systems. Your role includes incoming, in-process, and final inspection tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct inspections of parts according to well-defined criteria using standard measurements.

    + Perform visual inspection on large lot sizes under a microscope.

    + Accurately document inspection and testing results.

    + Maintain controlled documentation files and test records in a timely manner.

    + Perform data entry into computer systems.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to use inspection gages and microscopes for 8 hours per day.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

    + Knowledge in ISO and GMP standards.

    + Experience in document control and assembly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Medical device experience is a plus.

    + Willingness to learn and train in microscope usage.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is not a cleanroom setting and no personal protective equipment is required. The quality department consists of about 10-12 employees, and contractors have their own bench. This area is shared with the warehouse team, encouraging constant interaction.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
