    Job Title: OSP Designer

    Job Description

    A successful OSP Designer will be capable of designing and delivering coax and fiber optic telecommunications designs using the ESRI suite and other GIS products. This position requires a good working knowledge of ArcGIS and/or CAD software, basic IT skills, and the ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data. While knowledge of telecommunications network structure is helpful, we offer training for this aspect.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and deliver coax and fiber optic telecommunications designs.

    + Utilize ArcGIS and CAD software effectively.

    + Manage processes efficiently and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments.

    + Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures.

    + Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to support assigned department or project.

    + Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department or project.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in ArcGIS and CAD software.

    + Ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data.

    + Basic IT skills.

    + Proficient in using office hardware and software such as PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, and Google products.

    + Advanced proficiency in assigned function areas such as Accounting, Engineering, IT, Procurement, or Project Management.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or a minimum of three years in telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering experience.

    + Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

    + Authorization to work in the United States.

    + Must be 18 years of age or older.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Initially, the role requires working in the office, but there is flexibility for a hybrid work environment as you become more established.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brentwood, TN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
