Job Title: Validation EngineerJob Description

Join a dynamic team as a Hardware Validation Engineer, where you will play a critical role in the test and validation of analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems for cutting-edge products. This position requires close collaboration with design and integration teams to ensure the highest quality and functionality of hardware components.

Responsibilities

+ Perform test and validation of analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems.

+ Collaborate closely with design and integration teams to ensure seamless product functionality.

+ Conduct hardware verification and electrical engineering tasks.

+ Design and troubleshoot PCB layouts, conduct power supply and analog circuit testing.

+ Write and execute test plans for microcontrollers, SOCs, FPGAs, and electric motors.

+ Debug and analyze high-speed and RF hardware systems.

Essential Skills

+ Strong validation experience in hardware systems.

+ Proficiency in hardware verification, electrical engineering, and PCB design.

+ Experience in power supply testing and analog circuit analysis.

+ Expertise in writing test plans and conducting hardware tests for microcontrollers, SOCs, FPGAs, and RF components.

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and debug board-level electrical circuits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

+ 5+ years of experience in board-level design verification for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics.

+ Experience developing requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification.

+ Hands-on soldering skills with both through-hole and surface-mount components.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Redmond, WA, offering the opportunity to impact the release of a satellite constellation project. Enjoy 6 paid holidays and 10 days of PTO annually, with an open statement of work and no tenure limit.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
