Description We are looking for a dedicated Billing Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will excel at managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company standards. This position is Contract to permanent, offering a great opportunity to grow within the machinery manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.

• Maintain and update billing systems to ensure data integrity and efficiency.

• Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to reconcile discrepancies and resolve payment issues.

• Generate and review billing statements to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up with clients to secure settlements.

• Assist in the implementation of billing system updates or enhancements.

• Provide detailed reports on billing activities and account statuses to management.

• Address customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment processes.

• Ensure billing procedures align with industry regulations and company standards. Requirements • Proven experience in billing or a similar financial role.

• Strong knowledge of billing systems and processes.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable practices and reconciliation.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.

• Problem-solving skills to address billing discrepancies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in accounting are a plus.
