A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as a Production Order Planner, where you will play a
crucial role in supporting the production scheduling and material requirement
planning for our Compressor Component products within the Siemens Energy Gas
Turbine division. You will provide essential SAP interface support for
materials needed in production orders, ensuring they are picked, confirmed, and
staged efficiently. Additionally, you will assist with work center scheduling,
capacity planning, and effectively communicate machine tool capabilities, all
while contributing to our mission of delivering low-emission power generation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Provide analyses and data to build effectiveproduction strategies, capacity plans, and development plans.
+ Assist in confirming hours booked within SAP andgenerate detailed reports for operational reviews.
+ Resolve SAP system conflicts utilizing your extensiveMRP experience.
+ Monitor customer production requirements and adjustschedules as necessary.
+ Coordinate logistics and timing for productionmaterial requirements.
+ Deliver detailed work center scheduling to optimizeproduction flow.
+ Collaborate with shop support groups to ensurenecessary tools and information are available on the shop floor.
+ Analyze daily operating results and engage withsupervisors to address production challenges, ensuring cross-departmentalcooperation.
+ Facilitate planning for non-conformance rework andprovide detailed scheduling.
+ Lead bottleneck resolution activities to enhanceproduction efficiency.
+ Generate production reports and metrics, proactivelyinfluencing decisions to meet established goals.
+ Report performance against operating plans andstandards.
+ Coordinate with business partners for systematic andphysical material movement.
+ Maintain a high proficiency in Excel to support yourtasks.
What You Bring
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability toevaluate options and make informed decisions.
+ A collaborative team player who contributes to teamgoals.
+ An associate degree or skilled trade with equivalentexperience; a bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is a plus.
+ A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience inscheduling, line supervision, industrial engineering, or productioncontrol.
