    Position Summary and Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our laser products portfolio at Cincinnati Inc. This role is pivotal in driving product strategy, managing the full product lifecycle, and ensuring our laser solutions meet market demands while delivering strong financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, with a customer-centric mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and creative thinking to innovate in a technical environment. You will collaborate cross- functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and execute product visions that align with business goals.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Product Vision and Goals: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision, roadmap, and measurable goals that align with company objectives and customer needs.

    + Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development through launch, growth, maturity, and end-of-life, ensuring timely updates, enhancements, and retirements.

    + P&L Ownership: Manage profit and loss (P&L) for the laser products line, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and financial analysis to optimize profitability and growth.

    + Strategic Decision Making: Lead strategic initiatives by evaluating market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to make data- driven decisions that position our laser products for long-term success.

    + 80/20 Analysis: Apply the 80/20 principle (Pareto analysis) to focus efforts on high-impact features, customers, and revenue drivers, streamlining processes and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.

    + Product Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools and metrics (e.g., usage data, KPIs, A/B testing) to monitor product performance, identify trends, and inform iterative improvements.

    + Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research, including customer interviews, surveys, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to uncover insights and validate product opportunities.

    + Prioritization: Prioritize features, backlog items, and initiatives using frameworks like RICE, MoSCoW, or value vs. effort matrices, balancing short-term wins with long-term strategy.

    + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, and customer support teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and ensure successful product delivery.

    + Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-first mentality by incorporating user feedback, usability testing, and persona development into product decisions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

    + Innovation and Problem Solving: Identify and solve complex problems creatively, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and exploring emerging technologies in laser fabrication.

    + Performance Tracking: Establish and track success metrics, reporting on product health to senior leadership and stakeholders.

    Education and Experience:

    REQUIRED:

    + Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a strong plus.

    + 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or technology sectors. Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing products that drive revenue growth and market share.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc.

    REQUIRED:

    + Strong analytical skills with proficiency in product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and financial modeling.

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

    + Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.

    + Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Productboard) is highly desirable.

    Reporting to this Position:

    + Product Specialists, Application Engineers, and Administrative Assistants

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    + Ability to work in an office environment daily

    + Ability to travel as required (up to 50% annually)

    + Ability to work in a development laboratory running CI machines
