    Job Description

    We’re seeking a Superintendent to oversee large-scale telecommunications and construction projects. This role involves managing project staff, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving projects to successful completion. Ideal candidates have extensive leadership experience and a strong background in telecommunications or construction.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Recruit, hire, train, and manage project-related staff

    + Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and company objectives

    + Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives

    + Plan, manage, and monitor project profitability and deadlines

    + Oversee workload distribution, staffing levels, and job installation progress

    + Review job cost postings and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting

    + Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings

    + Attend facility and construction meetings as the main on-site customer contact

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed

    + Monitor operational processes and implement improvements for efficiency

    + Lead safety initiatives and training sessions

    + Manage tools and truck inventory and maintenance

     

    What You Bring

     

    + Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience

    + Minimum 5 years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field

    + Proven ability to define projects, create scopes of work, estimates, and manage tasks to completion

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)

    + Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents

    + High school diploma or GED

     

    Nice to Have

     

    + Experience with OSP and structured cabling projects

    + Familiarity with telecom tools and troubleshooting

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
