    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to support student health needs in a school setting. In this role, you’ll take responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process, delivering high-quality student care, and ensuring services align with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s philosophy, standards, policies, and physician orders.

     

    Depending on the assignment, the School Nurse may also serve in a supervisory capacity within contracted services.

    + Hours per Week: 37.5

    + Contract Length: 15 weeks

    + Start Date: January 18, 2026

    + Case Type: 1:1 student care

    + Student: Middle school female

    + Primary Need: Seizure care

    + Schedule: Partial day in General Education and partial day in SPED classrooms

     
     

    + Graduate of an accredited registered, practical, or vocational nursing program

    + Active nursing license (LPN, LVN, or RN) in the state of practice

    + One year of professional nursing experience (preferred)

    + Current CPR certification

    + PPD test or chest X-ray, if applicable

    + Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years old
