• Senior IT Project Manager - DERMS

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead extensions to a recently completed Distributed Energy Resources Management System (DERMS) initiative, driving work across distributed energy programs and the Distribution Management System (DMS) for power distribution. This Project Manager will own scope, schedule, and delivery of the project ensuring seamless execution. The PM will be expected to manage cross-functional stakeholders (operations, engineering, IT, and compliance), and ensure seamless integration of DERMS with the utility’s DMS to enhance real‑time visibility, control, and reliability. This role requires a proven track record managing complex utility projects end‑to‑end, deep familiarity with distributed energy workflows and grid operations, and crisp execution on change, risk, and vendor management to deliver measurable outcomes on time and within budget. The ideal PM would come from a Utilities background and be familiar with DMS (Distribution Management System). They will also need to have extensive experience with MS project as well as Waterfall methodologies.
