**_Caterpillar’s Remanufacturing Division is looking for a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to support the Franklin, IN facility._** This position will oversee and direct daily plant operations including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution and warehousing.
**Degree Requirement** :
+ Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
What You Will Do:
+ Oversee programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training the personnel that perform and support the plant operating functions.
+ Direct all aspects of manufacturing operations for the plant or facility in order to produce cost-effective, timely and high quality products in a safe, secure and sanitary working environment.
+ Manage development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
+ Direct development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitoring process and personnel performance of scheduled work activities to remove operating impediments and achieve established operating goals.
+ Drive a high performing safety culture

Manufacturing Operations: Previous manufacturing operations & leadership experience required; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.

+ Builds a monitoring system to track manufacturing operation activities.
+ Sets and oversees all operational routines for departments and staff.
+ Oversees proper safety and security procedures to ensure accreditation approval.
+ Designs strategies to minimize machinery problems and safety risks within the organization.
+ Develops plans for movement of products through lines to processing, storage, and shipping units.
+ Leads discussions on the history and evolution of manufacturing plants and associated services and functions.
Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.

Summary Pay Range:
$172,630.00 - $258,950.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
