Description:
Assists in establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, patients, and visitors and property of St. Mary’s Health Care System. Maintains safe traffic flow in the Emergency Center Area by assisting with the valet service
**Licensure/Certification/Registration:** Must have a current State of Georgia driver’s license with a good driving history. Must obtain certification in National Safety Council Defensive Driving, the American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)*, International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security*, Defensive Tactics**, ASP Tactical Baton and OC Pepper Spray.
*Within One Year of Employment; **Must Re-certify Annually
**Education:** A minimum of high school graduate or equivalent.
**Experience:** Should have a minimum of one year of security, police, or military experience. Healthcare Security is a plus.
**Special Qualifications:** Position requires a professional appearance, language, attitude, thought and style of behavior. Must be mentally alert, socially responsive, intellectually honest and morally sound. In delicate situations, must be diplomatic and tactful. An extroverted personality is a desired characteristic.
