Summer interns will receive a high-level view of the Global Sales Organization at Delta Air Lines working with the some of the following teams over the course of the summer including Sales Development, Corporate Sales, Sales Account Executives, etc. Responsibilities may range from assisting with formulating sales strategies and programs, building and maintaining key account relationships, participating in sales calls and meetings, etc.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Candidate must be a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s inbusiness administration
+ Currently in possession of a valid passport and willing totravel extensively
+ Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication andpresentation skills
+ Strong analytical, leadership and computer skills
+ Should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications,especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
+ Adaptability; must be able to function in a fast-paced workenvironment with competing priorities
+ Must be a strong team player, detail oriented and performwell under pressure
+ Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
+ Successful problem solver and critical thinker
+ Candidate must convey professional image to all levels ofemployees
+ Must be available to work on a full-time basis for theSummer 2026 semester. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive ofonline or in-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which maydelay graduation by 1-2 semesters
+ Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-timeopportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation. This position is intended toprovide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student forthe workforce
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work inthe United States
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or another analytical discipline
