Our client is seeking a Chemical Management Technician to support chemical handling, inventory control, and on-site customer operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary on-site representative, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient chemical and materials management across production and warehouse locations.

First Shift

Pay: $25/hr

Responsibilities

+ Manage on-site chemical and inventory replenishment, inspections, and documentation

+ Monitor and stock production floor bins, cabinets, and storage areas

+ Perform chemical compatibility reviews, sampling, and process tank additions per procedures

+ Coordinate chemical deliveries and maintain inventory accuracy using scanning systems

+ Support hazardous materials response, spill cleanup, and PPE compliance

+ Communicate inventory, quality, and production issues to site leadership

+ Operate material handling equipment when trained and certified

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and customer requirements

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required; college preferred

+ 1–2 years of inventory, material handling, or production experience

+ Chemical compatibility or hazardous materials experience preferred

+ HAZWOPER (40-hour) required

+ Experience with JIT, VMI, or 3PO models preferred

+ Strong communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills

+ Ability to travel between customer sites and accommodate schedule changes
