The IT Support Technician is the first point of contact for resolving technology incidents and work orders. This role leverages strong technical skills, a passion for problem-solving and a passion to deliver exceptional customer service. This position is critical to ensuring our systems run smoothly and our users stay productive.
A day in the life as a Service & Operations Desk Technician...
+ Provides support for technology incidents and work orders, addressing a wide range of hardware and software issues
+ Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting complex problems and implementing effective solutions
+ Documents solutions and procedures clearly and concisely, contributing to our knowledge base and improving future support efforts
+ Escalates complex problems to higher-level support, collaborating with senior technicians and engineers to resolve challenging issues
+ Ensures timely and effective resolution of technical issues, prioritizing incidents based on severity and impact, and striving to exceed user expectations
What you'll bring to the table...
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
+ Proficiency in a variety of operating systems, hardware platforms, software applications, and diagnostic tools
+ Solid understanding of networking principles, system administration tasks, security best practices, and end-user technologies
+ Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices for incident management, problem management, and service delivery
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information to non-technical users
