    Purpose: The Associate Scientist, Sample Donor Program is responsible for biospecimen collection and overseeing daily operations of the collection laboratory.

    You will be responsible for:

    + Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sample Donation Program, including biospecimen collection and laboratory management

    + Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining uninterrupted program operations

    + Developing and maintaining biospeciman management plans, handling requirements, program documentation and participant training

    + Providing operational oversight for biospecimen chain-of-custody and adherence to tracking compliance

    + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain current collection and management plans

    + Collaborate and provide expertise to requesting scientists on collection requirements/timing during the study planning phase

    + Supporting QA and SOP compliance and partnering with training teams to keep SOPs updated

    + Anticipating and resolving operational issues to meet deliverables

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Bioscience Technology, Medical Technology, or related field with 1 or more years of experience required.

    + Previous experience in phlebotomy, including venipuncture and specimen collection is required.

    + Previous experience in clinical trial management/operations is preferred.

    + Anticipating and resolving operational issues to meet deliverables

    + Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards and compliance protocols

    + Proficiency in electronic data systems and quality control programs

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment
