We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Building Construction Products Division as an **Accountant** in **Cary, NC** .

As a Cost Accountant supporting the Aftermarket & Service business in Building Construction Products Division (BCP), you will advise and provide guidance to multiple functional areas and levels of authority. You will be responsible for providing financial guidance on new business ideas, govern existing programs, & provide monthly reporting on the current state of the business.

Additional Information:

+ This role is located in Cary, NC and does offer relocation

+ This role is **1st Shift: Monday through Friday**

+ This role is 100% on-site with no opportunities for hybrid or remote schedules

+ This role requires up to 5% domestic travel

What You Will Do:

+ Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.

+ Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use.

+ Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.

+ Build business cases and be the financial representative behind new products and processes within the Aftermarket & Services business.

What You Have (Basic Requirements):

+ Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

+ Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

+ Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

+ 3+ years of experience as an accountant or similar role

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
