Material Handler I – Forklift Required

**Location:** Romney, WV

**Pay:** $18.00/hr

**Schedule:** Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a **Warehouse Associate with forklift experience** to join a fast-paced distribution environment in Romney, WV. This role is essential for receiving, storing, and shipping materials safely and efficiently. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to operate warehouse equipment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, lift trucks, order pickers)

+ Unload, receive, and store product accurately

+ Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment

+ Perform cycle counts, stock verification, and inventory transfers

+ Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

+ Document product characteristics and use inventory/shipping systems

Qualifications

+ **Forklift experience required**

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

+ Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

+ Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

Physical Requirements

+ Frequent lifting, reaching, and handling of materials

+ Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods

Additional Requirements

+ Must pass pre-employment **drug screen**

+ Must pass **background check**
