The team supports the safe delivery, movement, and set up of equipment that helps create efficient, comfortable, and compliant workspaces.

     

    Responsible for safely transporting equipment, materials, and packages between company facilities, customer sites, and warehouse locations. This role ensures timely deliveries, maintains accurate delivery records, and upholds company standards for professionalism and safety.

    Required Skills and Experience

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, meeting client insurance and fleet requirements

    + Ability to safely operate company-provided vans

    + Strong punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail

    + Familiarity with GPS and routing tools

    + Reliable personal transportation (Somerville location is not easily accessible by public transportation)

    + Ability to comply with health, safety, and security requirements, including hospital and clinical environment policies

    + Willingness to complete HIPAA training, background investigation, CORI, and driver’s record check

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and handling equipment for extended periods.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    + Previous delivery, driving, or warehouse support experience.

    + Experience working in hospitals, clinical, or regulated environments.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

    + Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticket/work request tracking systems.

    + Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience.

    + Ability to analyze operational or safety issues and take corrective action.

    + Experience providing cross-coverage or backfill support in a team-based setting.

    What You Will Be Doing

    + Assisting the Mobile Warehouse Technician with transporting equipment, materials, and packages between warehouse, office, and customer locations.

    + Loading and unloading equipment while ensuring proper handling and damage prevention.

    + Performing routine vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance needs.

    + Maintaining accurate delivery logs, manifests, and proof-of-delivery documentation.

    + Following assigned routes, schedules, and traffic laws.

    + Assisting warehouse staff with staging, organizing, and receiving items for transport.

    + Communicating delays, route changes, or issues promptly to supervisors.

    + Providing operational backfill and cross-coverage as directed.

    + Working onsite at the Somerville warehouse and customer locations throughout the Greater Boston area, with occasional travel.

    + Adhering to variable schedules, including after-hours or weekend work as required.
