Engineering Technician - Electrical (1st Shift)

Description
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Diagnose electrical faults and failures; repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime
Set up new electrical systems, lighting, motors, and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Assist with electrical upgrades, system modifications, and improvements to enhance energy efficiency, safety, and productivity
Follow all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards (OSHA, NEC, etc.) in all electrical work
Conduct safety audits and collaborate with the safety team to maintain a safe working environment
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to resume operations quickly
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory
Prepare reports as required for management review
Work collaboratively with maintenance team members, production staff, and external contractors to support manufacturing processes and equipment reliability

This is a Contract position based out of Rockaway, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
