    Growing professional services company in Monroe seeks Senior Accountant to join small team. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Director of Accounting and Finance and will be responsible for various Corporate and Operational Accounting functions including (but not limited to) the following;

     

    + Own designated areas of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities

    + Ensure timely, accurate completion of close processes

    + Prepare, review, and maintain fully supportable balance sheet reconciliations

    + Perform detailed P& L and balance sheet analysis, identifying trends, risks, and anomalies

    + Prepare internal reports and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP

    + Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries efficiently and accurately

    + Partner with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to support tax filings, provisions, and compliance activities

    + Checking the bank daily for cash deposits, applying payments to customer accounts.

    + Paying vendors, maintaining payable history.

    Requirements

    The Senior Accountant should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of hands on accounting experience. Strong communication and Excel skills are required. Prior experience with NetSuite is a plus.
