Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of records. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking stability and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Record and process invoices effectively using accounts payable systems.

• Perform three-way matching to ensure accurate financial documentation.

• Prepare and execute weekly check runs and handle check processing.

• Settle daily cash transactions and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Manage bank deposits and ensure timely submission.

• Oversee accounts receivable tasks, including billing and collections.

• Provide administrative support as needed to enhance operational efficiency.

• Utilize QuickBooks software to manage financial data and reporting.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards and practices. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Familiarity with three-way matching and invoice processing.

• Ability to handle bank reconciliations and deposit management efficiently.

• Experience with check runs and cash settlement.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
