    Description

    A charter school in Utah is seeking detail-oriented and dependable individuals to support academic excellence by grading student work and assessments. This role plays an important part in upholding the school’s high academic standards by ensuring that all student assignments and evaluations are reviewed accurately, fairly, and consistently according to established grading criteria. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to carefully evaluate written work, follow detailed rubrics, and meet established deadlines. Graders must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion, as the role requires handling sensitive student information and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times. This position is well-suited for individuals who work independently, take pride in accuracy and consistency, and are committed to supporting a rigorous, achievement-focused academic environment.

    Requirements

    + Accurately grade written assignments, exams, and assessments according to established rubrics and guidelines

    + Ensure consistency and fairness in scoring across all student work

    + Review student responses thoroughly to maintain grading accuracy and quality standards

    + Record and report grades in accordance with school policies and timelines

    + Maintain strict confidentiality of student information and academic records

    + Communicate grading discrepancies or concerns to instructional or administrative staff

    + Meet grading deadlines while managing workload efficiently

    Qualifications:

    + High attention to detail with the ability to follow grading rubrics precisely

    + Strong work ethic and reliability; able to meet deadlines consistently

    + Prior experience in grading, education, or assessment support preferred but not required

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills

    + Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive academic materials

    + Proficiency with basic technology and online grading platforms is a plus
