Description
Kevin Wong with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Tax Director/Manager to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon. This role focuses on managing corporate tax compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and overseeing tax-related audits. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing strategic tax plans while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed quarterly and annual deferred income tax provisions to ensure accurate reporting.
• Manage monthly current income tax provisions and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
• Reconcile income tax accounts and address discrepancies effectively.
• Respond to tax notices promptly and resolve any issues in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns, sales tax, property tax, and other indirect taxes.
• Design and implement tax plans, compliance procedures, and risk management frameworks to optimize tax operations.
• Contribute to the monthly financial close process to align tax and accounting functions.
• Participate in internal, tax-specific, and year-end audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements • Strong expertise in preparing annual income tax provisions.
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and managing tax filings.
• Proficiency in ATX tax software and similar compliance tools.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate income tax laws and regulations.
• Ability to develop effective tax plans and manage risk.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills for handling reconciliations and audits.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with tax authorities and internal teams.
