Description We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join a dynamic, litigation-focused personal injury practice in Dallas, Texas. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a background in supporting attorneys through various stages of litigation. The role offers a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and multitasking are essential for success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys, including assistance with personal injury cases.

• Prepare and file legal documents electronically using e-filing systems.

• Draft and respond to discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Organize and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation-related events.

• Coordinate trial preparation activities, such as compiling exhibits and creating witness lists.

• Communicate with clients to prepare them for depositions and meetings.

• Maintain case calendars and track critical deadlines using Mac-based systems.

• Support attorneys with administrative tasks and case management duties as needed. Requirements • Previous experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant, with a focus on personal injury cases preferred.

• Proficiency in e-filing systems and familiarity with court procedures.

• Knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation techniques.

• Ability to effectively schedule and manage complex litigation events.

• Comfort with Mac OS and scheduling tools.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
