Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a contract to permanent position within the retail industry that requires precision and efficiency in handling payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll for mid-sized teams and a strong understanding of garnishments and related procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.

• Handle full-cycle payroll operations, including data entry, calculations, and record maintenance.

• Manage payroll for teams ranging between 101 and 500 employees.

• Address garnishments and other payroll-related deductions with accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure all payroll procedures align with company policies and government regulations.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Maintain detailed and organized payroll records for auditing purposes.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters with attention to detail.

• Assist in improving payroll processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll processing and management.

• * Bilingual English / Spanish Required *

• Ability to manage payroll for mid-sized teams of 101-500 employees.

• Knowledge of garnishments and other payroll-related deductions.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and internal teams.

• Proficiency in payroll software and related tools.

• Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
