    The Managed Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting managed care credentialing, contracting, and reimbursement initiatives across multiple facilities. This role functions as a key liaison between payers, internal departments, and the Managed Care team to ensure accurate contracting, credentialing, analytics, and ongoing payer relationship management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Perform provider and facility credentialing, including requests for participation with insurance payers

    + Assist with the review and negotiation of payer agreements

    + Establish and maintain payer relationships; subscribe to and monitor payer newsletters and bulletins to communicate network and policy updates to Revenue Cycle and Managed Care teams

    + Analyze facility and payer data for existing and new service lines to identify reimbursement opportunities

    + Route, log, and track contracts through the signature and approval process

    + Provide accurate pricing of procedures for all facilities

    + Develop and maintain contracting tools for Business Office staff, including contract summaries, fee schedules, and grouper listings on SharePoint

    + Research, update, and maintain state and federal fee schedules for loading into internal systems, as needed

    + Collaborate closely with the Managed Care team on data analytics reviews and reporting

    + Investigate reimbursement discrepancies and assist in resolving contract-related payment issues

    + Load contracts and key documentation into appropriate systems and databases

    + Perform additional duties as assigned within the Managed Care department

     

    Work Experience Requirements

     

    + Minimum of 2–4 years of healthcare experience in Managed Care and/or Revenue Cycle management

    + Demonstrated critical thinking skills with working knowledge of Managed Care credentialing and contracting processes

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills

    + Effective communication and teamwork skills

    + Experience with SharePoint preferred

    + Post-secondary education is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required

    Details:

    + Direct placement, permanent position.

    + Salary range: $85,000 - $125,000/yr. based on related experience.

    + 100% remote – US Based (EST preferred)

    + Limited travel to the corporate office may be required
