Description
The Director, Finance Business Partner provides strategic financial leadership and serves as a trusted adviser to leadership, partnering on cost management, investment strategies, and key financial decisions. This role leads end-to-end financial planning and forecasting, delivers insightful analysis and performance reporting, and drives continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and reporting. Through close collaboration with senior stakeholders, the role translates financial data into actionable insights that support effective financial planning and inform critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Lead the development and oversee the execution of the annual financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Develop financial models to support business decisions, scenario analysis, and long-term forecasting
Strategic Analysis
- Proactively conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to support decision making.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including variance analysis and financial performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis, leveraging technology and automation where applicable
Collaboration & Business Partnership
- Partner with leadership to establish financial targets and KPIs and provide financial insights and support business planning and decision making
- Serve as a key financial adviser to leaders, offering guidance on cost management, resource allocation, and investment strategies
- Communicate financial results, forecasts, and key insights to senior leaders and other stakeholders
Qualifications
+ Degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA and/or CPA preferred
+ 7-10 years of experience
+ Advanced Excel skills associated with large volumes of data, data management, and reporting
+ Presentation skills with senior management
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
+ Experience using the following systems: SAP, CPM, OneStream, Business Warehouse, and Tableau
