    Position Summary:

    Assists with food preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean kitchen area.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned:

    1.

     

    Assists cook with meal preparation.

     

    2.

     

    Portions, assembles, and serves meals.

     

    3.

     

    Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes and equipment.

     

    4.

     

    Inspects trays and food carts for accuracy.

     

    5.

     

    Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    * Safe Food Handlers Certification within three (3) months of hire

    _Preferred:_

    * High school diploma or GED

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    1.

     

    Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

     

    2.

     

    Must possess basic math skills.

     

    3.

     

    Must possess basic organizational skills.

     

    4.

     

    Ability to work independently.
