Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Provide assistance to Bureau of General Counsel staff and staff attorney with case preparation
+ Reviews all cases assigned to the attorneys and prepares appropriate legal pleadings, obtains signatures on various forms, and documents pertinent data
+ Attends court and assists the attorneys, when requested
+ Assists the CSE Manager and CSE Supervisors with clerical support
+ Composes and compiles various reports as needed and requested
+ Supervises the Administrative Coordinator 3's and approves time and attendance
+ Ensures employees are properly trained and provides assistance and/or guidance on an as needed basis
+ Functions as the primary time administrator for the office
+ Performs other duties as assigned for the smooth operation of the Department
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
Work Location: This vacancy is located in the New Orleans Region in the Orleans Parish Child Support Enforcement Office in New Orleans, LA.
