Summary:

Building and operating our mission critical infrastructure the “right way” from break ground to go live is synonymous with ensuring capacity availability and capital conservatism. Architecting, constructing, operating and innovating the telecommunications and structured cabling infrastructure within our data centers is fundamental to ensuring high availability, the capacity to meet our extreme growth demands and obtaining the most robust and cost effective online service in the world!The Supply Chain Lead will spearhead our strategy and management framework as we continue to partner with our supply chain of Designers, Engineers, General Contractors, Telecom Partners and Integrators.This role is a full-time remote position supporting North American operations, with expected travel of ~25%. Managing stakeholders located across all regions and time zones is key to the success in this role.

Supply Chain Lead - Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction Responsibilities:
1. Drive Strategic Partner Engagement and Prioritization: Lead our strategic supplier engagement framework, focusing on proactive, high-level interaction with key partners to strengthen accountability, drive strategic growth, and ensure Meta remains top of mind
2. Manage Capacity and Effective Scaling: Manage the supplier capacity assessment and manage the supplier on-boarding program to ensure the supply chain can effectively scale up with our program's demands
3. Optimize Partner Allocation and Planning: Develop and maintain the objective, data-driven partner allocation program to ensure the right partners are matched with the right projects
4. Lead Scenario Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct and lead detailed scenario analysis for supply chain optionality, providing data-driven insights to manage risk and inform capex and schedule commitments
5. Analyze Supplier Ecosystem: Understand and analyze Suppliers' business strategies, capabilities, and growth areas to inform long-term partnerships and scaling decisions
6. Facilitate Strategic Reviews: Facilitate and Chair Supplier Strategic Business Reviews and touchpoints, often involving leadership and supplier C-suite leaders
7. Contribute to Thought Leadership: Contribute to the organization's thought leadership by developing new supply chain strategies and concepts
Minimum Qualifications:

8. 12+ years of progressive experience in engineering or construction roles, with a focus on program, commercial, or strategic supply chain management
9. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or another relevant area. An effective leader working as an individual contributor with a proven experience to influence without direct authority and drive outcomes across a complex stakeholder environment
10. Demonstrated proficiency in strategic communication and negotiation skills, with experience developing and executing strategic communication plans to support high-level partner engagement and executive reviews
11. Proficient in understanding construction means and methods, project sequencing, critical path schedules, and cost estimating for large capital projects
12. Demonstrate proficiency in communications skills and with experience developing strategic communication plans over short and long term
13. Proficient in understanding of construction means and methods, project sequencing, critical path schedules and cost estimating
14. Solid knowledge of conceptual budgeting and cost estimating as well as scheduling tools
15. Working knowledge of standards and codes
16. Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, and other tools required to plan and communicate work products
17. Mission critical, Infrastructure, and/or Data Center Construction experience

18. Masters or License in Engineering Discipline such as Electrical , Mechanical, Civil or Construction Management
19. 15+ years of experience including office and field, demonstrating industry expertise critical for effective scaling
20. Advanced Experience or Certification in Project Management, Leadership, Logistics, or Communications
21. Broad range of work experience from different facets of the supply chain (Owner, General Contractor, Trade Contractor, Supplier, Vendor, Consultant), providing a holistic view to inform both scaling and allocation strategies
22. Proven experience collaborating with leadership and C-suite executives in partner organizations, enhancing the alignment of strategic objectives
Public Compensation:
$150,000/year to $209,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
