    Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our Food and Nutrition Services team!

     

    The Dietary Assistant processes diet prescriptions, diet changes and patient meals. The Dietary Assistant also determines food production needs and assists in preparing, assembling, and delivering food for patient meals and the Home Delivered Meals Program.

     

    HOURS: Part-Time or .6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period. Varied hours between 10:30am – 7:00pm / 6:30am – 3:00pm

    Experience/Qualifications

    + Must be High School graduate or equivalent is required.

    + Basic computer operations skills (keyboard and mouse use, able to stand and use laptop, Internet browser use, opening and closing programs). Able to learn Food & Nutrition specific software.

    + Able to process e-mail (read, send, delete, file).

    + Able to operate other office equipment (e.g. hand calculator, copy machine, fax machine).

    + Able to make arithmetic computations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, using fractions and decimals, with a high degree of accuracy.

    + Ability to organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

    + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.

    + Ability to deal effectively with employees and the public, particularly through oral communication, which establishes positive customer relations and service. Must have good telephone etiquette.
