    We’re hiring a functional Business Analyst to drive functional design and scope definition for enterprise software applications. This role is highly hands-on and technical in nature, requiring strong enterprise managing scope creep, partnering closely with engineering teams, and using SQL to validate requirements and support solution design. You’ll own the functional vision from current state through future state while ensuring solutions align with business and system needs.

     

    This is not a passive requirements role. You’ll be the functional owner of complex initiatives, working directly with developers, architects, and stakeholders to design scalable solutions. If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy controlling scope, and want a path to full time conversion while making immediate impact, this role offers real ownership, visibility, and long term growth.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 4+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications

    + Strong, hands-on SQL experience (querying, validating data, identifying gaps)

    + Proven experience managing scope creep and navigating evolving requirements

    + Experience working across the full SDLC using structured methodologies

    + Ability to design complex software solutions across multiple releases

    + Strong experience creating functional design documentation and specifications

    + Hands-on collaboration with software development teams during build, test, and release

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + Experience in contract to hire environments

    + ERP or highly integrated enterprise system exposure

    + Familiarity with security, inter-system communication, or regulated environments

    + 10% – Documentation & Collaboration Tools (SharePoint, MS Project, etc.)
