    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant with 3+ years of experience in both corporate and individual tax compliance and planning. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting clients or internal stakeholders throughout the tax cycle. Experience with ProConnect tax software is a plus.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Prepare and review federal and state individual (1040) and business tax returns, including corporations, partnerships, and pass-through entities

    + Ensure accurate and timely tax filings in compliance with IRS and state regulations

    + Assist with tax planning, estimates, and extensions for individuals and business clients

    + Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to identify tax implications

    + Research tax issues and provide guidance on compliance and reporting requirements

    + Respond to tax notices and assist with audits or inquiries as needed

    + Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather required tax information

    + Maintain organized and complete tax workpapers and documentation

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    + 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, public accounting, or a similar role

    + Hands-on experience with individual and corporate tax returns

    + Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

    + Experience with ProConnect tax software is a plus
