Description We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their healthcare journey. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely and efficient appointments.
• Maintain and update patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist patients in navigating their healthcare needs and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Schedule appointments and follow up to confirm attendance.
• Check patients in and out, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care processes.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding procedures and treatments.
• Monitor patient flow and address any delays or issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies while handling patient information. Requirements • Proven experience in patient scheduling and healthcare coordination.
• Familiarity with managing and updating patient medical records.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Attention to detail when scheduling appointments and managing records.
• Ability to provide compassionate assistance to patients with diverse needs.
• Knowledge of healthcare policies and confidentiality standards.
