Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a Planning Specialist that will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and building the detailed plans for the Maritime Prepositioning Force program. This role is critical, and the planner will work closely with various military and civilian personnel to ensure mission readiness and success.
This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
-Prepare, maintain, and update accurate and timely squadron spread load plans, MSE plans, and detailed individual ship plans in accordance with the planning cycle.
-Utilize a strong working knowledge of the MPF Maintenance Cycle (MMC) structure to contribute to the creation of effective and useable spread load plans.
-Evaluate spread load and embarkation plans to identify space, weight, and allotment conflicts, documenting findings and proposing recommended solutions for review.
-Execute the established processes to update, modify, maintain, and document all changes to spread load plans and associated source reference documents.
-Operate and maintain proficiency in the Marine Corps Platform Integration Center (MCPIC) to perform daily planning functions.
-Use MCPIC applications and databases to manage and analyze logistics data effectively.
-Support the development and implementation of new logistics information systems by assisting with testing, data entry, and user feedback as required.
-Conduct detailed analysis on the impact of force structure changes and equipment list modifications, preparing reports and summaries.
-Utilize all relevant source documents, including a thorough understanding of?NAVMC 2907, to ensure all planning products are accurate and compliant with governing policies.
-Assist the Plans team by interfacing with various user groups and stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate planning efforts, and resolve discrepancies.
-Apply technical skills to investigate logistics problems, providing analysis and contributing to recommended solutions.
- Assist Plans and Data team in evaluating, submitting, and managing service tickets for MCPIC software/hardware.
- Provide customer support and training with logistics software and hardware
- Resolve issues utilizing excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, technical
thinking/reasoning skills, and a high level of individual judgment to ensure outcomes of
customer satisfaction
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 3-5 Years of relevant experience.
- Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license.
- Applicants must be organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a team environment, but also capable of completing individual tasks in a timely manner.
- US citizenship required.
- Able to work in a fast paced, teamwork environment.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Have proficient basic computer skills consisting of email, Microsoft Office software, electronic timesheets, network usage and basic database entry.
- Logistics background and an understanding of DoW operations.
- Experience with MCPIC hardware and software utilized in Mark, Pack, Inventory, and tracking of equipment.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,900.00 - $75,800.00.
