Job Description
As a Helicopter Quality Control Inspector, you will perform inspections on aircraft or parts during modifications, installations, or overhauls to ensure airworthiness, safety, and conformance to approved data and company standards. You will be responsible for returning aircraft and aircraft parts to service, interpreting and conforming work to electrical and structural drawings, and ensuring that all work is accomplished in accordance with FAA regulatory procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect aircraft and parts during modifications, installations, or overhauls.
+ Determine airworthiness, safety, and conformance to approved data and company standards.
+ Return aircraft and aircraft parts to service.
+ Interpret and conform work to electrical and structural drawings.
+ Ensure compliance with FAA regulatory procedures and specifications.
+ Review data for major alterations and repairs, and complete and file FAA Form 337.
+ Submit Form 337 to FAA for field approvals as required.
+ Review completed work orders and conduct airworthiness directive research.
+ Prepare data packages for aircraft certifications.
+ Complete logbook entries and interface with the FAA.
Essential Skills
+ A minimum of 5 years of quality control inspector experience on turbine helicopters in a Part 145 environment.
+ 5 years of hands-on turbine helicopter maintenance experience.
+ FAA A&P license is required.
+ Good working knowledge of 14 CFR part 145 regulations and related areas.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Agusta A109/A119/AW139/AW169 is a plus.
+ Strong avionics experience is a plus
+ Technical knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, sheet metal, rigging, instruments, and test flights.
+ Proactive, team-oriented, and detail-oriented.

Work Environment
Work in a FAA Part 145 Completions & Repair Facility, focusing on the completion and repair of helicopters. This environment is detail-oriented and requires adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring a high level of safety and quality

This is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $99840.00/yr.
