    Responsibilities

    + Independently implements the nursing process utilizing clinical Standards and protocols.

    + Serve as a role model in the management, leadership, and delivery of quality wound care nursing.

    + Integrates the role of clinician, teacher, consultant, and coordinator within specialty.

    + Responsible for professional accountability and development.

    + Works in collaboration and is responsible for the delivery of patient care to wound patients.

    + Receives and coordinates service requests.

    + Good working knowledge of current wound care medications, techniques and equipment.

    + Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements for wound care providers.

    + Telemonitor Program WOCN: Able to successfully conduct virtual telemonitor visits with the outcome of providing appropriate consultative documentation for physicians and TMS.

    Required Qualifications

    + Active FL RN license

    + Associate's Nursing

    + Wound-ostomy certification

    + BLS certification

    + Florida Driver’s License (within 30 days of hire)

    + 2 years of nursing experience
