Electronic Assembly/Soldering

Job Description

Engage in the production assembly of parts utilized in the manufacturing of power generation devices for the aerospace industry. This role involves working with components such as generators, alternators, sensors, and electric motors. You will be required to follow work instructions and drawings to perform both mechanical and electronic assembly tasks, using various tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical or electronic assembly tasks following work instructions and drawings.

+ Use hand tools, power tools, and production machinery to assemble parts.

+ Build circuit boards and assemble electronic components and wires.

+ Solder electronic components and wires.

+ Read and interpret drawings and schematics.

+ Utilize computers to access work instructions and assembly drawings.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in soldering.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and blueprints.

+ Experience in electronic assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must be able to read and understand English.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, quiet, and organized environment featuring several workbenches and workstations. Employees have the flexibility to sit or stand while working. The position follows a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, with four ten-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukie, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
