Description

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Cleburne, Texas, on a contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting activities, and maintaining compliance with established financial policies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial stability of the company while collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Record and manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Process invoices, customer payments, and billing activities with precision.

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain and update the general ledger and chart of accounts for accurate reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support financial operations.

• Assist with month-end close processes and basic financial reporting tasks.

• Organize and maintain financial records and supporting documentation.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and customers to resolve billing or payment inquiries.

• Collaborate with management and accountants to provide necessary financial schedules and reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks online as well as MS Excel.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

• Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice management.

• Capable of preparing basic financial statements and reports.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and customers.
