This role will define product experiences for how teams and organizations can collaborate more effectively in channels. We are looking for a **Product Manager II** with a focus on product thinking at the system level, high-craft user experiences, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement. Responsibilities
+ Understand customer needs and product goals and develop principles to guide product investments in Microsoft Teams channels experiences.
+ Define product requirements and success measures for feature updates to channels experiences. Evaluate product updates through feedback and data, derive insights, improve and deliver product updates that delight customers.
+ Collaborate closely with design, engineering, research, and partner teams throughout to align product outcomes.
+ Communication with internal stakeholders and external customers that brings clarity and energy, fosters trust and inclusion, and builds mutual understanding.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Demonstrated industry experience designing, specifying, measuring and shipping software and service product experiences
+ Excellence in user experience design, customer and competitive insights, and data mindset that drives outcomes.
+ 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
+ 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
