    Job Summary

    WALKER-J-WALKER, INC.

     

    The HVACServiceDispatcher is responsible for efficientlycoordinating and scheduling service calls,dispatching technicians,and ensuring excellent customer communication. Thisrole requiresstrongorganizationalskills,multitaskingability, andknowledgeofHVACsystemsto prioritize urgentservice requestsandoptimizetechnicianroutes.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Schedule anddispatchHVACservicetechnicians basedonurgency, location,andtechnicianavailability

    + Answerincomingcustomer calls, assess serviceneeds

    + Communicateeffectivelywith customers,technicians,andmanagement toensuretimelyservicedelivery

    + Monitor technician progress,adjust schedulesin real-time for emergencies, provide updates tocustomers, enterp-card receiptsandapprove technicians timefor

    + Maintain detailed records ofservicecalls,workorders, and technicianassignmentsin dispatchingsoftware

    + Handlecustomer complaints or concerns professionally and escalateissueswhenneeded

    Qualifications

    + Experience:1+yearsindispatching

    + TechnicalKnowledge: BasicunderstandingofHVACsystems,terminology,andservice workflows

    + Communication: Excellentphoneetiquette and abilityto interactwith customers andtechnicians clearly

    + SoftwareProficiency: Familiaritywith dispatching software

    + Organization:Strongmultitaskingand prioritization skillsina fast-pacedenvironment

    + Problem-Solving:Ability to thinkquickly and adjust schedulesforemergencies or delays

    + Prior HVAC industry experience isaplus

     

    Work Environment

     

    Office-based with occasionalhighcall volumes
