+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Demonstrated experience in grant and proposal development, including pre- and post-award processes.
+ Demonstrated experience in aligning funding requirements with organizational priorities and managing complex deliverables.
+ Demonstrate experience in budget planning, compliance, and Microsoft Office tools.
+ Demonstrated experience in strong communication skills for persuasive writing, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement.
+ Demonstrate experience in the ability to interpret and apply complex grant and technical documentation.
+ Demonstrated experience in coordinating stewardship activities, fundraising initiatives, and donor outreach.
+ Demonstrated experience in being a collaborative team player with creative problem-solving for funding strategies and research priorities.
+ Demonstrated experience in organizing files, contacts, and maintaining accurate reporting.

The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment (The Meadows Center) is an official university-level research center at Texas State University. The Meadows Center is seeking a research coordinator who will be responsible for understanding and supporting the research agenda and priorities of the the centert. The research coordinator will develop research and programmatic grant proposals and assist with pre- and post-award administration of grants, contracts, and gifts. They will initiate and organize opportunities for faculty and staff to investigate and apply for research funding opportunities. Helps to develop and enforce guidelines, policies, and procedures related to pre- and post-award and provides related education to Center staff.
