Description

The Communications Coordinator primarily functions as receptionist and telephone operator directing calls and visitors to their respective destinations in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications

Possess the ability to: make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action, deal tactfully with personnel, residents/patients, family members, visitors, etc., seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices. Possess ability and willingness to work harmoniously with a team approach. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset residents.
