Job Description:
GSI is looking for a talented **Information Manager** to join our growing team! In this role, you will oversee all aspects of information management, IT infrastructure, and services for a major infrastructure program central to the Mission of the United States Government.
We are seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team that is dedicated to supporting a large government customer in successfully delivering on this significant initiative. In our anticipated role, GSI will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success.
What You'll Be Doing** **:
+ Develop and implement a user-friendly dashboard and reporting tools to track schedule, cost, and performance across the entire project portfolio.
+ Lead the implementation of business analytics, dashboards, and data visualization tools ensuring they deliver actionable insights to program leadership and the client.
+ Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the program’s information management systems and IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with program goals and client expectations.
+ Establish and maintain a robust information management system to facilitate efficient data collection, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of project-related information to relevant stakeholders.
+ Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility in support of informed decision-making and overall program effectiveness.
+ Act as the primary liaison for translating technical information into strategic recommendations for senior program leadership and client stakeholders.
+ Delivery of services across all program areas.
+ Establish and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize information management, enhance data security, and ensure compliance with program standards and government regulations.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring** **:
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
+ 15+ years extensive experience as a technical consultant in a related industry, including supervisory experience and experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnel
+ Proven experience with developing dashboards to track a variety of metrics.
+ Extensive experience in information management and IT leadership roles within large-scale infrastructure or government programs.
+ Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including office buildouts, remote connectivity solutions, and cloud-based systems.
+ Proven ability to oversee the implementation of business analytics and visualization tools, ensuring they meet program needs and deliver strategic insights.
+ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into strategic insights for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
+ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring** **:
+ Familiarity with government initiatives, and programs.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
+ Experience with construction management processes and tools.
+ Experience with Kahua or similar construction management platforms.
+ Knowledge of standard business processes used in the construction industry.
+ A passion for learning and implementing innovative technologies to drive program success.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position at a minimum shall have a favorable fingerprint check and have the minimum tier 1 investigation initiated and completed to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
Location:
Washington, DC
Mix of on-site work and telework, with the expectation that the personnel will be in person the majority of the time, at least 75%.
