    Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

     

    Reports To: Maintenance Leadership

     

    Job Summary: The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all electrical maintenance activities and supporting facility operations by ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with industry best practices. This role drives continuous improvement, reliability excellence, and cost-effective maintenance planning.

     

    Principal Roles & Responsibilities

     

    Provide daily leadership and management to the electrical maintenance crew.

     

    Maintain and organize electrical equipment files, documentation, and records.

     

    Optimize electrical spare parts inventory through research and inventory control.

     

    Prepare and manage electrical job packages and work orders.

     

    Determine required tasks, materials, tools, equipment, and labor for electrical projects.

     

    Develop and maintain standard work plans and SOPs.

     

    Create and manage daily, weekly, and shutdown schedules for planned electrical work.

     

    Lead regular scheduling and coordination meetings with maintenance and operations teams.

     

    Identify resource needs and ensure efficient use of available personnel and materials.

     

    Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Competencies & Qualifications

     

    Master Electrician License or Journeyman License (State of Minnesota).

     

    10+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

     

    Strong communication, leadership, and crew-management skills.

     

    Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

     

    Competent in electrical maintenance procedures and maintenance planning.

     

    CMMS experience preferred.

     

    Experience with grain handling, refrigeration, utilities, and wastewater treatment equipment preferred.

     

    Experience managing complex projects in an industrial plant environment preferred.

     

    Understanding of vibration analysis, infrared, PLCs, ultrasonic testing, and motor circuit evaluation preferred.

     

    Boiler license or related experience is a plus.

     

    Job Specifications

    Education/Experience:

    Master or Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Minnesota (required).

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Supervises electrical maintenance personnel as needed.

    Physical Requirements:

    Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for tool handling, and reach with arms.

     

    Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

     

    Occasionally required to sit.
