    Job Description:

    Summary:

    The Digital Content Manager supports the Health Plan’s digital strategic initiatives by developing a digital content roadmap, managing a centralized digital editorial calendar to provide content visibility to key stakeholders, and creating digital content style guidelines. This role will write transactional messaging and digital tool copy, as well as reviewing and editing content submitted or contributed from business partners, ensuring that all digital content maintains consistent with standards and helps drive and meet search engine optimization (SEO) objectives.

    Essential Accountabilities:

    All Levels

    • Creates and edits content for digital projects; writes mostly non-marketing content including user interactions, instructional content for digital tools, and transactional messaging scripts.

    • Evaluates and maintains digital content style and standards guide, including guidelines, editorial voice and tone.

    • Acts as content management system expert consultant with internal teams, educating on processes and best practices; educates relevant teams on digital content best practices.

    • Conducts digital content audits, gap analysis, and optimizing content.

    • Collaborates and interfaces with digital/agile Domain Product Owners and aligned partners to understand content needs and manages dependencies within integrated projects.

    • Identifies key metrics required to evaluate content performance and conducts regular performance analysis to identify trends and insights to optimize content strategy.

    • Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies’ mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.

    • Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.

    • Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.

    • Performs other functions as assigned by management.

    Level II (in addition to Level I Accountabilities)

    • Leads collaborative sessions with cross functional teams to guide content strategy, activities, planning, and decisions for assigned projects.

    • Serves as an influencer to promote strategy-first approach to projects, enhancements, and content reviews.

    • Mentors’ peers on digital content and content strategy best practices.

    • Collaborates and consults with stakeholders throughout the company to create product plans and roadmaps; develops a universal content taxonomy to be standardized and implemented across systems.

    • Create and manage a digital content style & standards guide, including editorial voice and tone, for digital content and experiences.

    • Reviews incoming digital content enhancement projects from business stakeholders and assist in prioritization against current backlog and existing resourced efforts.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    NOTE: We include multiple levels of classification differentiated by demonstrated knowledge, skills, and the ability to manage increasingly independent and/or complex assignments, broader responsibility, additional decision making, and in some cases, becoming a resource to others. In addition to using this differentiated approach to place new hires, it also provides guideposts for employee development and promotional opportunities.

    All Levels

    • Five (5) years of experience producing digital content, specifically non-marketing transactional content focused on user experience and two (2) of which in proven SEO experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. In lieu of a degree, six (6) years of additional work experience.

    • Intermediate experience working with agile teams preferred.

    • Intermediate working experience with website content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager, other) required experience with Liferay digital experience platform preferred.

    • Ability to independently analyze problems, think critically on issues to identify and recommend solutions.

    • Ability to prioritize work components and define objectives effectively.

    • Intermediate knowledge of web accessibility best practices.

    Level II (in addition to Level I Qualifications)

    • Eight (8) years of experience creating, planning, and managing digital content.

    • Experience with and ability to assist, consult with, or lead in interviewing stakeholders about their roles, experience, needs, and expectations to refine project scope, guide content activities, decisions, and deliverables.

    • Ability and experience building relationships and partnering with divisions throughout the organization that encompass low and high technical skills sets.

    • Advanced experience as a content designer, content strategist, or UX writer writing for digital-first consumer experiences, preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.

    • Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

    E5 Min 71,880 Mid 100,632 Max 129,384

     

    The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
